In the end, it turned out that it wasn’t a problem with CMM after all (hard disc failure), and that makes CMM’s response even more impressive - they put the customer first and took full responsibility without even ascertaining if the responsibility was theirs. Furthermore, they checked back on me via email regularly to see how things were going. The first time I ran the cleanup I didn’t think the app would be able to find GBs of data, but it did and it cleaned it all. I did, and they emailed me the link to an uninstaller and one to reinstall. My Experience with CleanMyMac 3 The app is able to delete GBs of unwanted and unused files to save you a lot of memory, fix issues related to many areas of your Mac and keep an eye on its health. Just a few hours later, I saw I had a reply from CMM (even though I hadn’t complained to them) apologizing and asking me to DM them. ![]() A few weeks back, I had computer problems, and I mentioned on Twitter that I’d be offline for a while because of this, and also mentioned that I thought my CMM app might be the problem. ![]()
